Hazrat Sheik Abdul Qadir Gillani had to undertake a journey when he was a very young boy. His pious mother stitched up forty gold coins in his shirt, She told her son to speak the truth always, He joined a caravan and set off on his journey. when the group of caravan entered a forest a group of robbers fell on the travelers and Snatch their all valuable things.

While they were busy robbing everyone, a robber happened to pass by the young boy, he said, "boy, do you have anything? " " "Yes" he replied, "I have forty gold coins".


The robber asked the young boy to show the money which he readily did. The robber took the boy to the leader of the gang.

Like all other robbers, the leader was not a little surprised. He said,

Why did not you denied having money?

Hazrat Sheik Abdul Qadir Gillani told the robbers, Chief that his mother had told him to spack the truth always, This had a deep effect on the CHief, He said, "Alas!" I don't obey the commands of God while this little boy so faithfully follows his mother's advice.

He felt shameful because the little boy showed him the right path. then he decided to leave all his bad ways to earn, He disbanded the gang and advised all of the members to live an honest life. Thus the example set by Sheik Abdul Qadir Gillani reformed all the robbers. He grew up to be a great religious leader and a pious saint. he is held in great esteem by millions of his followers and devotees.
